Saturday July 13 Eagle Falls Ranch Zipline Adventure

When I left Blue Springs, I drove to Eminence, MO. I found Eagle Falls in the dark and parked near the office.

The owner, Shawn Nye,  was able to take a tour at 10:00 A.M.

I loved the 5 zipline tour, with its 60 foot waterfall, fountain and ponds with beautiful views of the Jacks Fork River. Gus and Jesse gave me the grand tour. Loved it!

There was also a quaint little town with many shops.

Use the Brake Hawk.

I next drove to Bourbon, Illinois to Blue Springs Ranch. They were preparing for a rodeo weekend, but I was able to take a canopy tour of 4 lines. Nice course.

Friday July 12 Caveman Zipline at Meramec Caverns

Next I drove to the Caveman Zipline at Meramec Caverns. This canopy adventure included three swinging sky-bridges, eight towers and four ziplines varying in length from 200 to 1250 feet and reaching speeds of 50 mph! Lots of fun zipping over the Meramec River with my great guides were Chris & Dylan.

Thursday July 11 St Louis, Missouri

When I left Grafton, I headed to New Florence, Missouri, but being so close to St. Louis, I had to make a quick stop and take pics of the Arch. I was there at 5:00 P.M. The traffic was a little heavy so I stopped and ate before continuing on.

Thursday July 11 Grafton Zipline Adventures

I next drove to Grafton, Illinois and visited Grafton Zipline Adventures. I received a private tour by the course manager, Jim Scroggins and guide, Kyle! It was a beautiful canopy tour with several 1800 - 2000 ft lines. The views were magnificent. From one line can be seen the confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. The long lines give plenty of time for enjoying the wonderful views.

Great tour with awesome views. The best of everything, lines that are long, fast and with great views.

8 lines covering 1 3/4 miles.

Thursday July 11 American Obstacle Kinmundy, Illinois

After zipping on Wednesday, I drove to American Obstacle in Kinmundy, Illinois. They were closed, but I was able to call Lisa, who owns it with her husband Curt, and she scheduled me for 10:00 A.M. the next morning.

Their adventure begins with a 40 foot climbing wall! No worries, there is a spiral staircase behind the wall if you don't want to climb up! I climbed about a third of the way, and then my guide let me down and I climbed the spiral staircase. So, that makes me 0 for 3 in rock wall
climbing.

The campground in on beautiful lake Kinmundy.

Tour has 3 ziplines and 2 suspension bridges; optional rock wall.

They also have a Group Challenge Course designed for small groups!

I enjoyed zipping through their canopy with my awesome guides, Brian and Tyler.
