Wednesday August 14 Park City Mountain Resort

I was able to talk to Steve and set up a zip ride fro 10:15 A.M. August 14. I returned to Park City after zipping in Snowbird on Wednesday.

I met with Steve and Nicole at the resort at 10:00 A.M. The resort has a lot to offer in the way of activities. There are several nice lodges so you can stay right on the premises while enjoying the activites.

We zipped 2 lines after taking the gondolas up the side of the mountain. The views were awesome.

Tuesday August 13 Snowbird Mountain Resort

I drove from Park City to Snowbird in the afternoon. Snowbird Mountain Resort has a lot of activities for the family! Very nice park. They have one zipline that is a double chair that zips you backwards and then zooms you back frontwards. The views were awesome and I enjoyed my ride.

Other summer activities: Horseback riding, fishing pond for kids, guided hikes and fly fishing, mountain scooter and bike rentals, aerial tram, Alpine slide, Mountain Flyer zipline, climbing wall, bungy trampoline, ropes course, air jumper, and kids' inflatables.

Tuesday August 13 Utah Olympic Park Park City, Utah

I arrived at Olympic Park and spoke to Sandy who was able to get me on both ziplines.

Olympic Park has 2 separate lines: The Freestyle and the Extreme.

These are high tech ziplines with a huge trolley system.

Freestyle is 800 ft and Exteme is 1200 ft. Both have beautiful views of the mountains.

I arrived at Max Zipline and talked to the owner Connie, who was able to get me on a tour right away. We took a van ride to the top of the mountain and zipped down 5 lines. We had very little walking. the views were awesome. We were in Provo canyon and the Provo River ran along
side of us.

My wonderful guides were Keili and Colton.

Monday August 12 CLAS Ropes Course Provo, Utah

This is an adventure park with many activities. They have a 450 ft gravity zipline. That means there is no braking. When you get to the other end, you go back the other way and when you stop at the belly of the line, a ladder is rolled up for you to get down!

I began by climbing a 40 ft telephone pole to a platform from which I zipped. I first zipped in a regular harness and then climbed up again and zipped hooked from the back so I could fly like superman!

My great guides were, Mari, Kayla, and Alex. Thanks Kayla for taking the photos!
