Friday August 9 Glenwood Caverns

I had a great day at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. After riding a gondola up the mountain, I had a pass to do anything I liked, so after riding the zipline twice, I rode the roller coaster twice, the Alpine coaster and the swing that swung out over the canyon. There are two cave tours...I went on one of them. It was a very enjoyable day. A lot to do for families and adults. 

It is easy to spend the entire day up on the mountain.  There are several places to eat and a gift shop.

Thursday August 8 YMCA of the Rockies Estes Park, CO

This a huge park with lots of activities and lodges.

They have one zipline that zips over a valley with a cool view. 

This park has a lot to offer.

Wednesday August 7 YMCA of the Rockies Granby, CO

The YMCA of the Rockies at Snow Mountain Ranch has a lot to offer! There are lots of activities for families. Tennis, basketball and many others. They have a very nice library!

Their zipline is a gravity based line that takes you off in the belly of the line after zippingcompletely across and back to the belly. This means no braking. You climb down a ladder after you stop.

Wednesday August 7 Devil's Thumb Ranch Zipline Tabernash, Colorado

Devil's Thumb is a very nice resort. We were driven in a van to the start of the course. The views were great! I had a great time.

My awesome guides were Kandyce and Joel. Joel gave us great information on the history and biology of the area.

Have 5 lines, use double trolley and catcher.

There is a cool lodge there and many other activities.

Fly fishing is a popular sport in this area and there are guided fly fishing trips available

Other activities: hiking, mounain biking, rafting, SUP, laser biathlon, archery, orienteering, geocaching, and more.

Tuesday August 6 AVA Mountain Top Zipline Idaho Springs, Colorado

This was a fun course. We were driven up to the start and then zipped 6 lines along the cliffs and over Chicago Creek.
